| Tianna Hoppe-Rooney, PhD, LMFT |

As Director of Perspectives Therapy Services, Dr. Tianna Rooney received both her Masters and Doctorate from the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Michigan State University. Both of these programs are accredited by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Dr. Rooney is fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the state of Michigan and is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Currently, Dr. Rooney serves as President-elect on the Michigan Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Board. In addition, she is an Approved Supervisor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Clinically, Dr. Rooney focuses on relationship health as well as eating disorders, body image, anxiety, and a number of women’s issues including sexuality and finding and using one’s voice. |

| Melissa Kostial-Janos, LMSW, ACSW |

Melissa S. Kostial-Janos, L.M.S.W. is an individual, marital and family therapist with over 20 years experience in both family service agencies and private practice settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her master of Social Work degree from Loyola University of Chicago. Melissa is licensed to practice as a clinician in both Michigan and Illinois and she is a longtime member of the Academy of Certificated Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers.
Early in her career, Melissa worked as a therapist and then director at an agency targeting adolescents and their families. She also served as a respite therapist and manager at an agency providing services for developmentally challenged children, adults and their families. Through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Melissa conducted assessments and provided counseling to couples considering adoption. |
During her years in private practice, Melissa has worked with hundreds of individuals, couples and families dealing with a variety of issues. She is a skilled clinician specializing in mood and anxiety disorders, stress and anger management, adoption issues, stepfamily formation and marital enhancement. Melissa also has experience working with families with special needs, gay and lesbian populations and women’s issues.
Melissa employs a solution-oriented approach to treatment while also guiding her clients to understand relevant family of origin issues. Her style is direct and interactive. Melissa believes the client is the expert in his or her own life and therapy empowers the client to make steps toward positive change. |

Education:
Bill is pursuing his PhD from the MFT program at Michigan State University.
Special Interests:
Clinical interests include treating anxiety, panic, and depression using cognitive-behavioral and internal family systems approaches. He is skilled in working with infidelity, specifically internet-based, as well as other sexual issues.

Education:
Karly is completing her PhD through MSU's Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
Special Interests:
Clinical interests for Karly include sex therapy, eating disorders, body image disturbances, empowerment, and couples therapy. Karly's sensitive and caring nature assists her clients in feeling safe and able to explore difficult issues.
Karly uses narrative therapy to assist clients in writing change into their lives; this approach focuses on a person's or family's story and how it includes a dominant discourse that doesn't allow for movement and change.

| Adam Downs, M.A. |

Education:
Adam is completing his PhD through MSU's Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
Special Interests:
Clinical interests include addiction and the use of experiential therapeutic techniques to bring about change. He specializes in facilitating support groups for addicts in recovery as well as their family members. Adam has extensive experience as an interventionist and can assist families and loved ones in confronting and empowering a person struggling with addiction to get help.
Adam also enjoys working with women who have experienced struggles in relationships using a feminist lens to achieve empowerment.

| Kayla Katterman, Therapist Intern |

Education:
Kayla Katterman is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication and Psychology from Saginaw Valley State University. Kayla is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a certified Gottman Bring Baby Home Educator.
While completing her degree, Kayla has worked with individuals, couples, and families facing various issues.
Special Interests:
Clinical interests include stress and anxiety, premarital and marital counseling, working with children, helping couples transition to parenthood and sexuality issues.

| Natalie Kasiborski, MSW, LLMSW |

Education:
Natalie Kasiborski is currently a PhD student in Social Work at Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Natalie then continued her studies at the University of Michigan, where she received her Master's degree in Social Work, concentrating on child and family therapy. Natalie has a limited license through the State of Michigan and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Since completing her Master's degree she has worked with couples focusing on strengthening relationships through enhanced communication skills.
Special Interests:
Natalie's special interests include premarital and marital counseling, addictive behaviors and family function, and self esteem issues.
