Why does mental health matter to you?
Mental health matters to me because, in my opinion, it is the most important aspect of a person’s overall well-being. Being healthy mentally is the first step, and it’s the gateway that allows you to focus/fix other areas in your life. Mental health doesn’t just matter- it is absolutely necessary.
When you’re not at work, what can we find you doing?
I am a free spirit. I love to explore and discover new things to do. For now, you may find me meditating, reading, watching football highlights, decorating for the holidays (Halloween and Christmas in particular) and in the theater (movie, performing arts or concert hall).
Describe your dream vacation.
My dream vacation wouldn’t necessarily be in a particular place, but a gathering with all of my favorite people. People that are close to my heart and, unfortunately, some of them are no longer with me. My dream vacation would be a feast of love, sharing, hugs, and gratitude with people like my grandparents, my little brother, my children, my parents, my best friends, and my partner. It would be an intimate brunch filled with all things that money cannot buy.
