I operate from a strengths-based perspective and a systems theory, which means that I try to see the positive in situations and believe we all have been influenced by our environment. I believe that we can choose to change how we respond to ourselves and our environment in order to change our future.
You are brave to seek out resolution for yourself. Therapy is a type of treatment intended to relieve or heal what is distressing you. I am open to using many methods to reach the therapeutic goals that we set together. I will meet you where you are, carefully assess the problem, and walk with you on your journey to wholeness. I am compassionate, empathetic, and genuine. I enjoy figuring out what contributes to problems in order to provide the best interventions for my clients and will be gently assertive when conflict needs to be addressed.
