Each person’s opinions, perspectives, values, and beliefs are derived from life experiences, and I want to hear about these experiences and learn how you were affected by them both positively and negatively. This information will help map out a road to where your mind is currently and project how to increase your mental health moving forward. Change is always attainable, and I want to be that agent of change with and for my clients to increase healthier lifestyles. All it takes is one person to help save a life! Progress is progress, whether big or small. There are many different paths that can be taken to become mentally healthier, and as a clinician, it is my job to help you progress and find your path!
I treat more than just the “problem” that the client is looking to solve, but the person as a whole. I focus on helping you build a box of tools (coping skills) that will be accessible at any time– whether you are near a crowd or alone. You will be able to help yourself heal, increase your self-awareness, and live a more healthy life. A professional therapeutic relationship will be built all while resembling a natural peer relationship. You will share control of your treatment path and will work on improving in the areas that you feel are impacting your life the most. I will be here to listen, offer support and motivation, and work with you together as a team!
