Every person can achieve a sense of empowerment and self-assuredness. To achieve that, I strive to make sure my clients feel heard, validated, and valuable. Also, I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths and overcome that which may be holding them back from being their most authentic and fulfilled selves.
I feel honored to hear and be entrusted with the words, thoughts, and feelings of those I provide service to, and I do not take that lightly. I value creating a warm and welcoming therapeutic space where you can “let your hair down” and speak freely about your dreams, fears, joys, and obstacles. I believe that kind of empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy is essential to developing an alliance between us, collaborating effectively, and ultimately assisting you with achieving your goals. Allow me to meet you where you are at and walk with you to where you want to go.
What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
Curling up under a blanket with a coffee in hand, either chatting with a loved one or watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
It’s a toss-up between coloring, snuggling with my cat, or doing a brief meditation.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
I have two answers to this. My favorite “current”, or more recent, movie is Bridesmaids; my favorite “classic” movie is The Wizard of Oz!
What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
Tacos, or some form of seafood pasta, followed by a brownie sundae with all kinds of toppings (whipped cream, nuts, a cherry… yum!)
