Rev. Dr. Bryan R. Salminen grew up in St. Johns, Michigan and graduated from SJHS in 1978. He earned the B. A. degree from Concordia University, Ann Arbor; the Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis Missouri; the Master of Education degree from the University of Toledo and Michigan State; and the Doctor of Philosophy degree from St. Louis University. He also did postdoctoral work at Washington University. Dr. Salminen is a licensed professional counselor, a licensed marriage and family therapist, a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Lutheran pastor. Dr. Salminen has served as a professor of psychology at Concordia University as well as Dean of The School of Continuing Education. He also has been a professor of pastoral counseling at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis Missouri. He has served as adjunct faculty for Concordia University and Concordia Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He has taught at Baker College and Central Michigan University. He has authored 3 books as well as numerous articles. He has pastored churches in Ohio, Illinois, and on the island of Guam. He has taught at Cambridge England, Latvia, Brazil and Germany. He is co-founder/developer of Zoescore (www.zoescore.com) an on-line marital/premarital counseling tool. He is married to Joyce and he has three grown children.
