I believe in creating a compassionate and safe environment where the client feels supported and empowered to make meaningful change. At some point in our lives we face challenges. As a clinician, I will work with my clients in assisting them during the journey to a more positive life. I am grateful to be able to work with clients to build trust, create goals, and develop an individual plan to ensure that their needs are met.
My goal as a therapist is to provide an empathetic and non- judgmental environment that creates a positive therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about working with individuals and families to come to a place where they can be the best version of themselves. Making the decision to seek help is often difficult and it is my goal to make this a positive and empowering choice.

The self-care strategies I use most often are connecting with friends and family, which generally includes a lot of laughter. I also love to go to vintage sales and enjoy repurposing old treasures. I also love hiking, taking yoga classes, and making jewelry.
I would love to go to Ireland and England to explore my heritage. In the past I have often traveled to Kentucky and just felt as though I had a connection to the area. I recently found out that my father’s ancestors had lived in Kentucky prior to moving to Florida. I also love to visit Estes Park, Colorado where my daughter is currently living.
When I was in Elementary school I always thought I was going to grow up and work in the nursing field. I can remember playing doctor’s office with all my stuffed animals. When I thought about switching careers while working as a dental assistant I explored completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and after a lot of consideration I chose Clinical Social Work instead.
