My philosophy as a therapist is to meet you (my future client 🙂 ) where you are at, at all times, with unconditional positive regard. There are so many dynamics that make up your beliefs, values and perceptions. In turn, you bring your own unique strengths and challenges. I believe you are the expert in your life and I will work alongside you to achieve whatever goals you decide as a priority.
Beginning therapy can be scary, especially if this is a clients first time and they are unsure of what they should expect. Therapy is a safe space to navigate any current concerns through open communication. My goal is for every client to feel safe, accepted and to know that I will never pass judgement. I look forward to building a relationship where trust and respect are the foundations throughout this journey you are beginning. Thank you for allowing me to join you in your quest to becoming the best version of yourself, I look forward to meeting you!
About Me / Fun Facts:
What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
I love to sing, even though I am not the best vocalist. I love to jam out in the car or at home and just have a fun time by myself or with other people if they are around.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
I love to watch shows or to draw, depending on the day. Being able to sit down and watch a romance movie, documentary or comedy helps me to regroup after a long day. I also love to draw when I have the chance, even though I am not very creative. I like to look up images from the internet and try to copy them.
What was your dream job when you were in elementary school?
I wanted to be a pop star when I was younger. I now am grateful that did not happen because I could not handle people constantly keeping tabs on me and taking embarrassing photos of me. I can barely look good for a photograph when I am prepared, so surprise photos would probably be heinous.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
I love movies, but my favorite would probably have to be Inception. I love the layers to it and all of the plot twists. It keeps you thinking throughout the entirety of it.
Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
I would love to travel to the Maldives and rent a private bungalow in the water. It has not happened yet, but I hope to get there one day.
What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
I am an avid foodie, so selecting a few items is difficult. The top choices however would have to be cheese pizza, fried pickles with ranch, ricotta pie, avocados, fried rice and a chocolate xtreme blizzard with chocolate ice cream from Dairy Queen.
