My philosophy in counseling is to meet my clients where they are at and offer guidance and understanding in their journey to where they want to be. I practice from many therapeutic models, using what works best for each individual client. Most importantly, I believe that by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment, along with a positive therapeutic relationship, you can heal and overcome all obstacles and challenges in your life!
As a professional counselor, my desire is to help you be a happier, healthier YOU! I have experience working with children and adolescents in the school-based environment, which has equipped me with a broad understanding of how the school day functions and how it can impact children and their families. I also have specialized experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, and feelings and thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
I love spending time with my family and my dogs and taking long vacations to the beach.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
Exercise, prayer, and spending time outside in the sun!
What was your dream job in elementary school?
I always wanted to be a doctor.

Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
My ideal vacation would be visiting the different islands of Hawaii, seeing the sights and soaking in the sun. It has not happened yet, but I am hopeful it will one day.
What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
The most delicious meal is one that I don’t have to cook, but one that was prepared for me!
