Empathy is one of the most important factors of the client-therapist relationship. I seek to establish a safe environment for clients. Together, we will determine the best approach based on your strengths, needs, and desires.
I believe that, in order to resolve our mental health issues, we need to feel safe and supported without being judged. Maybe you have experienced the loss of a loved one and feel lost. Maybe you are overwhelmed by stress and anxiety and need an outlet for your emotions. No matter the situation, I am here to walk with you during those difficult times. In a safe environment, you will be able to express your feelings and concerns and know that you are being heard. You are in the driver seat. You are in control. I am here to help get you to where you want to go.
What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
Spending time with my friends. Whether it’s playing board games/video games or sitting around talking about life. I love spending time with them.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
It’s probably a tie between listening to music and playing video games.
What was your dream job in elementary school?
I wanted to be an NBA player. That dream lasted until high school when I realized I was not blessed with the body and health of an athlete.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
I wouldn’t say that I have a favorite movie. It’s probably a tie between Major Payne, Remember the Titans, Captain America: Civil War, Rush Hour 2, and Space Jam.
Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
I love going to Petoskey during the summer time. I’ve made it a tradition to visit every summer.
What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
I make a really good peach cobbler!
