“We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” – Joseph Campbell.
Sometimes family, groups we identify with, and society place a burden on us of who we should be and how we should feel. Let’s release what does not serve us and find renewed hope and happiness.
Through life there are many transitions. Not all are positive and serve our well-being. Depression, anxiety, grief, and loss can come in many forms, affecting life and our relationships. The courage you show coming to therapy is a strength that will be met with a safe and accepting environment.
My goal is to take the journey of discovery together. Every person is unique. I will help you identify and untangle issues with an approach that works for you to move forward and provide the tools to navigate life’s challenges.
I have been working in the field of Social Work since 1999, and have worked with diverse clients of many cultures and faiths to provide the support needed for all individuals to live their best lives.
- I take the teaching of yoga and apply it to everyday life. When in doubt, return to the breath, and just breathe!
- Sailing is my passion. It is renewing, challenges me and, at times, takes me out of my comfort zone.
