I believe that achieving optimal wellness involves comprehensive assessment, intervention & treatment of the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental. Listening and honest feedback in a compassionate manner is the core of my practice. Medication may be needed to support the process of healing and recovery. I work with the client to prescribe and monitor the therapeutic value of medications and adjust according.

What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
Being on a boat on a lake on a beautiful Michigan summer day.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
Taking a bubble bath with a glass of wine and a great magazine.
What was your dream job when you were in elementary school?
To be a nurse and take care of people.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
“A Star is Born” – Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand :)!!
Describe your ideal vacation? Has it happened yet?
Healthy spa on a lake where I would have a full day of exercise, eat healthy delicious meals, get pampered with facials, massages etc and go boating, sailing etc….. I did go to a health spa once in Vermont with a friend…..but all the “pampering” stuff was extra cost and pretty expensive. It wasn’t on a lake, it close to mountains where we did hike and it was beautiful. I did enjoy all the exercise and healthy meals but I prefer water over mountains :).
What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
I am Polish and was raised very ethnically with a grandmother who came to America when she was 17 yrs old. We lived with my grandparents until I was 2 yrs old and throughout my life (until I went away to college), we ate very traditionally Polish…..so I miss all the “unhealthy stuff” that NOW you only eat on special holidays….(and my cooking doesn’t taste at all like my mother’s or grandmother’s cooking) – Kielbasa, Sauerkraut, Stuffed cabbage, Multiple different types of soups and Pies and Cakes for desserts of course!! 🙂
