I believe that everyone is unique and holds their own wisdom, and that is a good thing. We all have different walks of life that we can share with others and have others share with us. With this said, I believe in creating a mutual relationship of compassion and learning with clients. Therapy should be non-judgmental and understanding of others’ differences while appreciating and empowering one another.
I understand that everyone’s experience is unique, and so I meet clients where they are at. I believe in providing an open mind and a comfortable place for clients to be themselves as we work together to meet their goals. As we create a therapeutic relationship, I will work to help end the cycle of negative feelings by providing the space to open up about the deeper parts of life that bring these emotions to the surface. I will utilize the tools I have to promote a new frame of mind and coping strategies that fit the client’s needs.
Engaging in therapy can feel very vulnerable. Being open with someone new can be tough, but know that you are not alone. I’ll maintain the same openness that I want for my clients and make it a priority to keep a comfortable space so we can be present in the moment. Everyone deserves the space to be who they are, process their feelings, and work on what they need. My goal is to be the support system in this journey!

My ideal vacation would be to go somewhere (60-85 degrees) with people who bring me joy. I’d like to go somewhere that has a perfect mix of calm, fun, sight-seeing, and nature. I have had several great vacations, so I’d say yes, it has happened!
